How are the mids (treble is reputedly OK, and I'm a bit indifferent towards bass nowadays) on the ATH-a700x compared to the M50? Curious as to those cans, and I'm using the M50s as reference since I'm more or less familiar with them, and because they're from the same manufacturer. Better if you can compare them to the AKG 240/242HD. Thanks in advance!

a7x has better mids from my experience.

Yes, they ARE just saying that m50s are bad, period, hence my alarm.

AKG 240 is better overall.

If you can afford it, just get a9x. Better than AKG 240/a7x/M50 by far
