Please use this space summarize why you would like to be a MAT and how you can positively effect this community by being part of the team:

There are too many mappers who have great potential with maps that can blow players' minds but they end up in the graveyard from lack of support from the mapping community. I want to help these people so that we can get more unique maps into the ranking process since lately it seems there are many maps being ranked that are no different from others. By this, I don't mean maps that are extremely difficult or maps with just huge spacing. There are maps with jumps no one has ever seen, and new rhythmic patterns that fit so perfectly even though other people may think of it as overmap since it's not in the song.

In my opinion, overmapping doesn't come from adding rhythm that isn't already in the song, it comes from adding rhythm that makes no sense in the map. Mapping to the song is fine of course, but if you can include your own rhythm into an already great map, you get NatsumeRin \:D/

If it sounds like I hate generic maps, that's not true at all. Naturally, I wouldn't ignore the maps that obviously deserve to be ranked. I'm a big fan of eroge/anime maps and love to see them in the new ranked/approved list, but many other people share my opinion on this already hence the massive amount of maps in this genre being ranked :D
