After a depressing, dark walk home Jane was fed up of all the work she had done just to get an interview with a job she didn’t want to do, but deeply needed in order to pay her bills. As Jane entered her house she saw a familiar face, it was Robert, man who has always treasured Jane and was always offering her money and displayed no connection or love with her, despite Jane feeling that his face was the last think she wanted to see after a long stressful day. Richard greeted Jane with an offering out of financial debt for the next few weeks, this offering didn’t surprise Jane at all but didn’t hesitate to decline the offer despite her debts. “I’m not your charity case Richard” she snickered, Jane had seen enough and rejected all of his offerings and stormed inside her house, shutting the door and leaving Richard heart broken and embarrassed. The following morning Jane was woken up by a loud knocking at the door, it was her land lord demanding that she paid her rent by the end of the week or she would be evicted. Jane knowing she would have no luck finding employment knew she only had one option, to apologies to Richard and to request some money to pay off her debts. As Jane headed out on her long would of shame to Richard’s house, she noticed Gilbert, a well-mannered, well know, wealthy man talking to Jane’s mother, this did not surprise Jane at all due to her mother’s obsession with marrying all her daughters. As Jane slithered up Richard’s drive way to apologies, she was begging to have regrets about asking Richard for money after slamming the door on him the day before. Fortunately, Jane had done it before and this was nothing she hadn’t done before. Before Jane could ring the bell, Richard opened the door and whispered “I know what you’re here for, and I’m sorry for the intrusion yesterday”, and before Jane could reply she was given the money and offered her a ride home, “There is no need, I think I’ve done enough” said Jane. And without a word Jane left Richard’s house and ventured home. After Jane had returned home and paid off her debts, she began having second thoughts and feelings for Richard and thought she ought to be the one to apologies for what she had done and thought her actions where the ones causing their relationship to be unsuccessful. This stood in Jane’s mind for some time and thought that their relationship together would not only work but pull Jane out of her debt and make them both very happy. The following day Jane heard a knock on the door, it was Richard offering Jane an invitation to the ball as a token of apology, Jane’s heart dropped and ecstatically whispered “Yes, I would love to”. This news came as a massive surprise to Jane as she had only just finished leaching money off of him and slamming the door on him, she could not wait to tell her mother.
