Hey anyone who is currently or retired from the United States military

Current USMC Poolee here waiting to DEP out in a month and a half, but that might not even happen anymore. Before I enlisted, I told my original recruiter about having grown a marijuana plant before, despite never being convicted or issued a court date, and that I also never smoked marijuana before. He told me to just never mention it ever again and to say to no to anything and everything. Right after I got done with MEPS he gets transferred away. Now I'm up to my nips in paperwork even after finally getting a waiver for growing a marijuana plant. Even after all that, I'm still fucked since i still never admitted to smoking marijuana before and the police report from way back then just showed up saying i admitted to smoking once in the past. 

I could either stick to my guns and hope they buy it, or admit to everything and explain how my original recruiter was a shady as fuck shitbag.
Either way I'm in for a grillin' at the office tomorrow. How do I play this out so I either
>Don't get dropped from DEP
>Get dropped, but is still able to enlist again 
>Or not get arrested and fined 10 billion dollars for lying to big brother

How would you play this out if you were in my shoes?
