Same "Universe" as the TV show but lacking the actual characters. Essentially Tokyo-3 is destroyed in the first Angel attack, main cast there at the time dies and Sachiel continues to roam free. However Gendo manages to ensure that Lilith is safely transported to another NERV base but dies in the attempt. Kaji does manage to get the embryonic Adam to the base but eventually is killed by SEELE. Same Angel progression as the show but in different locations as Lilith and Adam are kept mobile. Shinji is killed when Sachiel arrives and Asuka is killed in action while defending Adam and Lilith in Germany, but she also gets the only confirmed Angel kill in the Angelic War at that time. Also in this reality the US has been building large colonies on the dark side of the moon (maybe ordered by SEELE) and NERV reveals to staff that they own a space station, all currently existing EVAs (AKA PC evas) were transported to that station, besides 01, 02, and 00, they were destroyed in the Tokyo-3 and Germany attacks. Earth is evacuated after all the Angels arrive, Adam, Lilith and a large amount of NERV staff make it to the Astrofront. SEELE perishes. Aprox. a quarter of humanity makes it to the lunar colonies, but it's a good mixture of races and ethnicities. Occasionally Angels come from Earth to attack either the Lunar Colonies or the Space Station (New angels only, old ones stay on Earth for Pilots to fight), NERV's primary public objective is to protect mankind and to retake Earth, it's main real objective is simply to protect Adam and Lilith (gotta come up with a third impact scenario other than instrumentality for SEELE successor to work towards). There is a "United Government" on the Lunar Colonies that create a facade of democracy, but in actuality are controlled entirely but some successor organization to SEELE, this organization however doesn't have control over NERV, which is now unto an independant nation on it's own, the Astrofront houses the entirety of the NERV staff and their families, and is armed to the teeth, unlike the colonies. NERV also has several secret research posts on the dark side of the moon searching for new technology (remember, the moon is basically chunks of Lilith's black moon and chunks of Earth that were thrown up when the Black Moon hit Earth), this will probably be where I get the Lance of Longinus and the S2 engine, maybe some other stuff as well. (Considering putting NERV and the Lunar Colonies into some sort of a cold war situation as well) The EVAs get to Earth via this sort of drop pod thing. Once there they attempt to destroy the Angel. Whether they end up retreating or are victorious a specially modified carrier is sent down to pick them up and bring them back to the Astrofront. Could also have something where they are told to explore an area/are told their pickup is delayed and have to survive or just explore in P-Scale, this could allow for some hidden information to be revealed via a NERV/SEELE survivor or just a normal survivor. As for the space rules in the AdEva rulebook all Evas are equiped with cooling systems located in the shoulder pylons, these are included as parts of the arms, if an arm is destroyed then one cooling system is considered offline and while there are no stat changes, things begin to get uncomfortably hot for the character, if the other shoulder pylon/arm is destroyed then overheating effects as per the Cruel Thesis manual take affect. Decompression works the same way. For the drifting rules, while only EVAs with float A.T power can move around using their AT Fields, any Eva can use their AT Field to halt their movement, rather than have to use a thruster in another direction. For entry plugs that are ejected they come with an onboard course calculator and enough fuel to get the plug moving on an intercept course with the Astrofront, this can be manually overridden though. For the debris rules, any planned fight with an Angel in space will be without debris, as it is assumed that NERV cleared the area somehow prior to avoid collisions. E-Type equipment works basically the same, it has a massive power supply for the EVA which lasts for 35 rounds (35 full actions, 70 half actions), rather than the described 20 in the GM rulebook. It also does allow the entry plug to launch, unlike described. If an Eva has the float AT ability they do not need to use the E-Type equipment, but have full range of movement and all that instead, they still come with the E-Type equipment for the power supply however, which lasts 40 rounds due to needing less room for thruster fuel. All base of operations structures work almost exactly the same, except they are modified with thrusters, piloting areas, and anything else for it to be logically used in space. A pilot or the OD can order the staff inside of one of these to move it at any point if it is in the way, and they have an onboard AI that can detect an Eva/Angel heading towards in and placing it in danger (this can and will be accidentally triggered by Evas used the float AT power, as the geniuses at NERV can't figure out how to tell it to diffrentiate). Umbilical ports are not used in space due to tangling issues that cropped up during testing (this headphones but with giant fucking robots). Launch ports only exist on one side of the Astrofront, but the Astrofront keeps that side pointed towards the Earth at all times during it's orbit, like the moon. Turrets are the same but mobile as stated above. When conducting an Earth based mission, support structures may be dropped down with the Evas (the Evas can keep 2 weapons inside the drop pod with them however), due to advancements in power technology as evidenced by the E-Type equipment, Umbilical cord structures offer power for until it is convienient for the plot for them not to. During Earth missions, the OD is given enough umbilical cord structures to have one for each Eva, plus an extra one for free. Research works the same way, however the OD has the option to invest research into moon research stations rather than *actual* research things which will count towards their amount of research to the next tier and give them a chance of something *special*. Evangelion carrier planes are modified for atmosphere entry and exit, still travel at the speed of plot. The Astrofront also has two sets (6 total) of Magi Supercomputers. (It could be interesting to have a sub plot where they disagree during a battle/during routine stuff, or maybe have multiple factions within the Astrofront due to the gathering of staff from all the different bases and one centers around on Magi and the other centers around the other or something)
