by Firebird ยป Thu Apr 21, 2011 1:47 am We've started having about 5 differently named scripts in each episode, each one a different stage of the process. It's all fine, but can cause confusion, and having the file with the same name, as corocoro pointed out, might make people think there were no changes and therefore not redownload to make their own changes. So, here's the deal. Each script has a revision number. Each time you re-upload, you increase the number by 1. So, TL starts, uploads MEGADEATH Anime episode 48 to ftp. script: 48-0.ass Timer does his thing 48-1.ass TLC 48-2.ass Editor 48-3.ass TS 48-4.ass QC Edits 48-5.ass anything else along the way, like a second edit or more TSing or something... 48-6.ass etc etc... Final version should be 48-RC.ass and if there is going to be a v2, we start the process again. 48v2-0.ass etc. So yeah, when upping scripts, please bear this in mind. A tidy house is a happy house... or so they say. Plus working on the wrong scripts really sucks, corocoro did it today, and I've done it previously too.
