truthfully, i initially had the thought of asking you to the formal because i found you pretty cute appearance-wise
at the time, i knew things would be awkward between you and me at the rate our relationship was developing with minimal interaction/whatsoever
i figured you were just the type of girl that would probably never start a convo for no reason, and that it was up to me to reduce the possibility of awkwardness between us
so i manned up and decided to approach you directly
i wouldn't say it went well, but it wasn't bad either
