In both video’s Macbeth does not so any emotion what so ever for his wife passing away. He was not expecting this news at all it completely caught him off guard. The first video he said “I almost forgot the taste of fear” the news hit him very hard but yet it did not make him emotional. In the second video he says “she should have died a year after” this shows even more that he did not really have a strong connection with her. He did not even show emotion of the man telling him the queen is dead. Both of the films varied with the reaction the older film he showed more confusion and sadness and hopelessness and the newer film he showed a lot less emotion. The same words were almost said in the new one as the old one. The new one was scripted off of the old one which is understandable. The actor’s reaction to the deaths was both very dull. They just had no idea it was coming or not the reaction I was expecting. The older film showed a wide variety of reaction showing people around Macbeth this showed the audience everyone’s reaction, the crowded around the lady and the sadness of them was shown. The camera view in the second film was a lot more personal. Not open to a variety of the crowd. There were only two people in the scene plus the girls pulling the cart but they showed nothing. The guy showed facial emotion and was more personal showing his emotions and regret. This gave a lot more detail of his relationship with his wife. It just shows the evolution of film making over the years. But the director could have changed the camera views on the man in the second film.
