We do averre, that having severall ladies of great quality amongst other of our prisoners, which after six dayes possesion we proffered theyre libertyes, and to goe to ye President’s camp...they refused, sayeing they were sure now to be prisoners to a person of quality, who was more tender of theyr honors and reputation than they doubt doubted to find in ye President’s camp amongst his rude Panama soldiers.
