colonel contured walking towards the wood still he got thought it and come to a town. the town had lots of building and horses outside them. colonel when into one of the restaurants and asked for water. the bartender ask if he got any money colonel  said no and the bartender kicked him out. a stranger walked up to colonel  and handed him their canteen, colonel took it and drank from it, handed it back and said thanks. colonel  got up and contured walking. the stranger asked "where are you going?" colonel replyed "east. im heading east." the stranger asked "whats east?" colonel  said "i dont know". the stranger asked would he like to come with him. colonel  thought it over and destined to join him, "sure" colonel  said. the stranger said" ok so let get a move on by the way my name is Lantry. Lantry McGrub". colonel just looked at the man for a sec when said, "my name is colonel sartoris snopes." lantry said" nice to meet you colonel, so why are you alone where you pa or your ma?" colonel quickly replyed, "i dont want to talk about it". lantry just look at him and then change the subject, "look this is my horse, get on" he said. they road east out of town 3 day after got to a river and made camp for the night. "so now tell me about your family colonel" asked lantry, colonel looked at him for along perid of time. when colonel opened up to lantry and tell about his life,his father and what happen in the other town. lantry ask "do you think your father is dead? colonel replyed "i dont know, i hope so".
