One of the biggest issues in second transition was people getting hit by the fear crash. In a 15 second window, 25 people and a 100% avoidable mechanic, there should not be 52 hits on the raid. Some of these are chain effects. If you're feared then you obviously can't move out of another crash under your feet, and this happened multiple times and caused the majority of deaths. I'm also almost positive that this is where our late adds are coming from. If an add aggro's to a healer or dps and the person gets feared, the add stays in the back with them until they get to the stairs. That would cause the add to be 3 seconds behind the rest and would explain a solitary add being late and need to be single targeted. Like naws mentioned above, we over emphasized the importance of having the boss sub 50 corruption after the second transition. The more we analyzed other videos and thought about it, we realized it's not that important. about 90% of the kill videos I saw had garrosh at 51-55 corruption after the second transition The only difference between 49 and 50 corruption is the MC'd people are empowered and cannot be stunned. Aside from that, absolutely nothing changes with our strat. If we were doing methods strat of spreading out and killing adds, then this would have a much bigger impact. If we properly handle empowered whirling corruption, we will always be stacked back up after desecrated weapon. When MC's come out and we can break them out quickly and efficiently. Sunday the primary focus has to be survival. No one can afford to die in second transition. If you see a swirl under you then move, don't try and push that extra gcd in an attempt to get the adds down. Move your asses and stay alive. As long as we get first transition down before 25 corruption, a kill is possible. Thursday the raid mindset seemed to be "If we don't push this sub 50 corruption, it's a wipe." I'm guilty of this myself. If we got to 51-54 everyone started blaming others and sighing in contempt. As long as everyone is alive at that point we are completely golden and good for a kill. Clean it up on Sunday and lets get this kill.
