While it doesn't really look like that emotion, Lily notices that it is somewhat desperate for Mari�, as if she got herself into real trouble, her mind at something else all the time. Despite that, later that day after school, she walks over to Lily and tells her about something she had planned to tell her about anyways. Now it [11:58:40] just a convenient distraction of what she is going through. "I talked to her." Mari� jumped right to the topic at hand. "About you." [11:58:54] (That's how she'll go about it!) But... certainty, I guess." She looks at Lily. "She was drunk, so I am not sure whether she just doesn't care whether I and therefore you know, she doesn't expect me to tell you, or she honestly was that smashed. But... even though not directly, I got to ask her the question that no one would answer you." [12:09:54] "But she does know something, right? Did she let on how much? Or anything at all beyond knowing?" [12:11:21] "She admitted it." Mari� said bluntly. "And if I read correctly between the lines, she even was the one who did it." [12:13:00] "She did it...she did it...I-I need to talk to her. I need to know." [12:15:55] Mari� shook her head with a gloomy expression on her face. "Do you really think she'll tell you anything. It at all, you'll get the pretty words that she uses to describe what they did. A and . And when I called it a replacement, all she said was: That's how they view it and I guess that it the most you'll ever get out of her, too." [12:18:08] "Maybe...maybe she'll tell me, if I ask? I mean...we both know she doesn't like telling you anything you want to know, maybe the chances'll be better if I ask or something?" The girl looks rather desperate. [12:18:37] "I...I need to at least try..." [12:19:15] "And then?" Mari� suddenly asked. [12:22:18] "Hope I can get her to tell me something, at least. I...don't know what else. Is...there anything you can think of that'd make her more likely to be willing to talk?" [12:24:24] Mari� thought about it for a moment. Then, a sad chuckle escape her mouth. "Yes, yes there is something. I mean, you can get her drunk to losen her tongue, but I can only think of one reliable way. Make me suffer as much as you can. That is the only thing that this Witch seems to appreciate." [12:26:24] "...I could never hurt a friend. Not intentionally." [12:27:49] "I...don't even know how I could even do that if I wanted to...I don't like hurting people. Only she does." [12:28:15] "And that is why she won't tell you. Because it hurts you." [12:29:27] "Does...she just hate everyone who isn't herself?" [12:30:10] "I... I don't know. I don't care. I just... want her to die and leave me alone." For some reason, Mari� sounded... sad? [12:31:44] "Did...did something else happen?" She looks incredibly concerned all of a sudden. [12:32:22] Mari� avoids eye contact. "...........she said something. And I guess she might be right." [12:33:43] "...what did she say?" She puts a hand on the girl's shoulder, trying to look her in the eyes - she just wants to help! [12:35:10] "...that I can never be like others. I will always fail at attempting to do so. And I guess I proved her right immediately afterwards." Now she sounded somewhat angry. Though was it with Ichigo, or herself? [12:37:34] "...well, yeah. Course not. You should be yourself instead of trying to be someone else, that's what Mom always told me...everyone's different." [12:41:14] "That's not it. I'm not just different. I'm inferior. And just when I thought I might have found a way around it, it turns out even then I am just as unable as she predicted." [12:42:24] "...I don't think you're 'inferior' at all." [12:51:12] "Then you just haven't looked close enough yet." [12:53:19] "What makes you think that?" [12:57:25] "I look at you. I look at everyone. And I see the difference. Funny, isn't it? Nothing you need a good eyesight for." [13:00:24] "I don't." [13:03:29] "Probably that is the reason why you don't hate me then?" Mari� smiled weakly. [13:03:55] "You're my friend, of course I don't hate you." [13:09:50] "...thank you. Then that's at least one thing she is wrong about." [13:10:12] Mari� smiles, but she doesn't really seems to be happy at all. There still seems to be a lot on her mind. [13:10:17] "And if she's wrong about one thing, she can be wrong about other things." [13:10:49] "...I hope so? But so far I haven't done a lot that proves her wrong." [13:11:03] There's a pause. "...you said that if she's drunk she's more likely to talk, right? What kind of stuff does she like?" [13:11:16] "Just means you haven't found them yet." [13:13:41] "You think I could prove her wrong?" Mari� doesn't look convinced. "And yeah, there is this really good wine that she likes. But it from before Second Impact and I think she is only the one around who saved a few bottles of it. But I doubt that wine in generall will be wrong?" [13:14:55] "I know you can. You've done it once now, haven't you? You can do it again." [13:15:14] "And again and again and again." [13:16:53] Mari� nods and at least tries to look optimistic, or at least that is what it seems to look like. "Then I'll try."
