In the large island of Palawan lived a certain family of 4. In once glance, they would seem like your average family, but they are much more than that. Tey truly care for each other deeply and their love for their family would know no bounds. They would often do everything together: from watching moveis, having picnics, playing games, enjoying sports activities, to just about anything else. This was the Vergara family. Robert Vergara, the father, had a job that was enough to feed his family, and sometimes give them a little luxury. Stephanie Vergara, the mother, was a housewife that took care of the entire family with all her ability. Jane Vergara, the second year high school daughter, was very much inyo playing the violin, earning the respect of evern foreign figures. Joey Vergara, the grade four elementary son, was practically a prodigy in soccer. Yet they all remained every humble towards their neighbors. One of the rare instances in which they had a feud was when Jane stayed out too late because of a newly declared boyfriend. Robert was forced to shout at her to keep her at bay, but Jane was too sensitive and decided to run away. Joey was traumatized by this experience, and Stephanie decieded to follow Jane. The two did not return, and it had been three days already. Rober regretted his actions, but when he was just about to call Jane, he heard an explosion. People were shouting "It's the Chinese!" as Chinese bombers, escorted by fighter planes, dropped bombs upon them. Robert quickly pressed the call button only to hear the sounds of boms from the other side of the phone. Just as Robert cried, a bomb also fell on his house, ending his life. Joey was the only survivor, as he was still in school. His Teacher told him that his family died and that he will go to a foster family. It turned out that the Chinese finally had enough of the problem at Scarborough Shoal so they decided to attack the Philippines. The war lasted two years, with the victor being the Philippines aided by America, Japan, etc.. Joey was practically alone, but through the years, he worked hard and studied hard to become the top notcher in the Bar Exams. He went on to become the President of the Philippines, living with the strength his family left him, and he was focused on relationships with other countries.
