Bowie starts off a decade in which he would become the greatest glam rocker of all time with an underrated glam masterpiece. Sure, it pales in comparison to the two albums that would follow it, but “The Width of a Circle” and “The Superman” are killer songs. And the title track is awesome, even if it’s mostly remembered these days for getting covered by Nirvana. The guitar work might be the best of any Bowie album.
