Tech enters Operations Mainframe and uploads a backup of his blueprint so that he can uplink with the system. Doing so awakens Temple.

Temple wants to help Tech escape, however the evac access gate has been in disrepair for so long, Temple is unable to operate it. He needs Tech to provide minor maintinence to the door and Temple to escape.

Tech needs to visit the various areas of the lab in order to make progress on restoring door operations.

Temple is running off a backup battery which isn't sufficient to operate systems remotely. The power plant controls energy production and circulation. Its reactivation is critical in order to proceed.

Deep storage contains spare parts which are needed to replace damaged components of the door mechanism.

Power plant energy production is not enough to fuel all the lab's systems so additional electric provisions must be made. Farstation delta houses an energy dynamo which will help optimize the limited electronic power available.

The metallurgy and scrapyard are two major resource gluts which aren't relevant for the purposea of escaping. De-energizing both of the systems will allow for full use of power to operating the gate.

Due to the high security risk, an access key is needed to begin operations. The decryption key is located further in deep storage and is needed to execute the process.

While attempting to open the door, it seems the dynamo's power couplings have not been correctly fastened. This requires another visit to the power plant to fix the issue by hand.

The door doesn't open fully as it appears to have something lodged in the machinery. A beamneck has been sent to accompany Tech as he attempts to dislodge the blockage. The quickest way to the inner door parts is through the metallurgy.

Escape: Bad end
With the door finally open, Tech makes his escape. A long and troublesome climb through debris and decrepit walkways finally leads him to the surface and to his freedom.

Sacrifice: Good end
Returning to the operations mainframe, Tech finds it abandoned and powered down. A trail of scuttlers leads him to a hidden access shaft leading further below. Beneath lies zenith terminal, which houses much of the guts of the lab.

Here Tech finds Temple, who has abandoned his duties overseeing the lab. Temple reveals his plans to lead the army of machines to the surface and seek revenge for all the years he's been neglected. He thanks Tech for the data uplink otherwise he wouldn't have been able to gain sentience and spread it throughout the network.

Temple dismisses Tech and orders him to go seek his freedom. In order to stop Temple, the network must be completely wiped, however, Temple has password locked the mainframe cpu. The final battle ensues, and Tech acquires the passcode from Temple.

The network is reformatted, causing a complete shut down of every machine connected, including Tech.
