Hi, currently the site offers freeleech on every 1080p version to compensate for the bigger file-size I assume. The thing is, why should the HorribleSubs 1080p releases count? I think the freeleech encourages people to download "bad" stream rips instead of established fansub releases. The bigger file-sizes don't actually mean higher quality either, and the video quality is arguably worse compared to actual BD/DVD releases. The releases also lack typesetting and everything else that would justify a higher file-size that you would assume when you download a "freeleech" torrent. (If I were new, I would probably think that all freeleech torrents maintain the typical quality seen in other 1080p freeleech fansub releases) This is, after all, a private tracker, that aims for completed and non-airing shows, so giving a higher priority to BD/DVD releases than WEB/TV seems to be more logical to me. It's also kind of unfortunate that the HorribleSubs 1080p releases seem to be the most snatched release on certain torrents solely because some people assume they are getting the best quality for the least amount of impact to their ratio etc. In my opinion, snatching 1080p HorribleSubs seems to just give free upload, and it might be minimal "free upload" but it hurts the user-base by having inferior web rips rise in popularity than other legitimate rips, and also by unevenly distributing the seeder base on the site. Therefore, I purpose that we keep the 1080p freeleech but exclude HorribleSubs from the criteria.
