Hello. I am a File. I am going to introduce you to the new PikaJurX! First, lets start by opening a PJX tag and closing it again: Begin PikaJurX End PikaJurX As you may have noticed, this text gets printed into the terminal just as it is. This is to make in-line processing and commenting much easier. Okay. So, first step, set a variable: Begin PikaJurX set myvariable to Oh you glorious sphere of matter, I greet you! ( In other words: Hello world!) End PikaJurX Now, let's print it: Begin PikaJurX write myvariable to STDOUT End PikaJurX As you may have noticed, the variables stay persistent, even if you close the PikaJurX tag in between. So if I print it again, we should see the greeting again! Begin PikaJurX write myvariable to STDOUT End PikaJurX Please remember; You can only write variables! To push text, you need to use the fill statement, which we will go over a bit later. Let's get to if statements Begin PikaJurX set awesomeness to Julien is Awesome! if JeremyIsAwesome then write awesomeness to STDOUT end End PikaJurX This won't fire, since JeremyIsAwesome isn't true. However, if we set a variable to true, and check for it, it will perform the actions listed within the if tag. Begin PikaJurX set JulienIsAwesome to true if JulienIsAwesome then write awesomeness to STDOUT end End PikaJurX See? Tip: if you want to add multiple spaces in a row, you can use ! Begin PikaJurX set drugs to Faaaaar out maaaaan! write drugs to STDOUT End PikaJurX It's as easy as that!
